About Bridge City Montessori School

At BCMS, we are proud to be Montessori trailblazers in bilingual, inclusive education for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing children. Our classrooms are co-taught by Deaf and hearing team members to ensure students have native language models in both American Sign Language and spoken English.

We value creativity, joy, and professional growth. Team members are encouraged to share their passions, take continuing education classes, and help each classroom develop its own uniqueness.

A core part of our curriculum is world studies, where we celebrate identity, culture, and family heritage. We believe learning should reflect and respect the diverse journeys of every child and family.

More about being a part of our community

How do we provide you with support in order to produce the most effective lessons and projects in SE Portland?

Bridge City Montessori uses online, in person, and hybrid extended education classes to build your knowledge of Early childhood education and the Montessori Method.

Each assistant is assigned an experienced mentor that will encourage and guide you on your journey toward a better you with our community.

We ask that you bring your passions into the classroom! Do you play an instrument? Garden? Love to bake or sing songs? These are just some of the tools that you may already possess that ensure that your expression in the classroom is felt, seen, and heard.
